Created in 2006, Robert Oatley Vineyards aims to embody the best that Australia can produce where classic grape varieties are matched to the leading wine regions of Australia. Along with grapes from the family properties, some dating back to 1858, the Oatley family draw upon select growers of excellence across a diverse range of climatic regions. A deep understanding of viticulture enables the team to identify the best vineyard sites in Australia.

VIneyards
Climatically, Australias most reliable wine region, not to mention one of its bestknown, Margaret River has proven to be the ideal home for Cabernet Sauvignon,Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc, producing distinctive wines of powerfulstructure and finesse.
Vinification
Premium parcels of grapes were specially selected from a range of sites across theMargaret River region, from Karridale in the south through to Wilyabrup in thenorth, to create a well balanced, medium weight style in the citrus mould. Maturedfor a short time in a variety of French oak barriques, twenty per cent new. A smallportion (10%) underwent a secondary malolactic fermentation, this componentadding some softness and complexity to the fine acid structure of this crisp, earlyrelease chardonnay.

A bright, mid-weight, white peach-accented, gently oaked wine grown on selectedsites across Australias highest performing Chardonnay region.
