Founded in 2002, Sloemotion is a small family business based at Green Farm, in the village of Barton-le-Willows, just north of York and nearby to the market town of Malton in North Yorkshire.
With a background in conservation & farming, Sloemotion’s Joff Curtoys has a passion for the land and the wildlife that lives there.
The fields, the rich meadows, the vibrant woodland and especially the tangled hedgerows in North Yorkshire provided the inspiration for Sloemotion and is still at the heart of every decision made.
Hedgerow Gin is the fruit of many years of hard work by the award-winning team at Green Farm. The care that is taken with the hand-picked hedgerow botanicals that enhance this unique gin, is evident in every sip.
Whilst a lot of rhubarb gins are sweetened, Hedgerow do not add any sugar allowing the tangy sharpness of the crimson stems to mingle with the pleasant fruitiness of raspberries and the hedgerow botanicals. Make no mistake this is a dry gin.
