Why should I buy this wine?
“The start of the vintage saw average January, February and March. Low temperatures in April and May, threatened frosts but none appeared. The sun returned in May and June with flowering beginning at the end of May. Summer brought ideal conditions with hot, dry conditions and cool nights. The right amount of rain at the right time came in August and September, with the harvest taking place under ideal conditions. Overall, 2019 has all the hallmarks of being an excellent vintage.“

“Composed of 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc, the deep garnet-purple colored 2018 Maume gives up wild blueberries, baked cherries and garrigue scents with suggestions of pencil lead, stewed tea and wild sage.
