What it means is that the winery behind Casas de Herencia is focused on honoring the traditional flavors and styles of Spain that have made it one of the worlds favorite wine producing countries. Certainly, they add their own signature flair to the wines but these wines truly honor their heritage and make one hell of a tasty, easy-drinking Spanish red.
Combining three Spanish grapes, Monastrell (50%), Tempranillo (40%), and Garnacha (10%), this delicious red blend sticks to native varietals to express the special Spanish flavors. The wine is a brilliant red garnet color. Vibrant and fresh red fruit aromas dominate the nose, making your mouth water in anticipation of that coveted first sip. On that first sip, you will get those fresh fruits first with a velvety mouthfeel. A medium-bodied and well-balanced wine, the fruit will linger in a finish that will leave you wanting more. This is a great red wine for your homemade (or not!) spaghetti as well as barbecue chicken.
