Artisanal Cooperage Techniques: Each barrel of Ol’New Riff Rye Whiskey is a product of artisanal cooperage techniques, with the wood prepared without modern kiln-drying, allowing for a more natural aging process. The barrels breathe with the seasons, allowing the whiskey to develop a rich, nuanced profile that connects the past with the present.
Heirloom Grains and Mashbill: Crafted using heirloom Ohio Valley grains, including Balboa rye, blue Clarage, and yellow Leaming corn, this whiskey features a mashbill reminiscent of classic rye formulations. With a higher malted barley content of 15%, the grain composition contributes a full-bodied flavor profile that is complex yet impeccably balanced. The Balboa rye leads the mashbill with a robust 65%, accompanied by 20% heirloom corn.
