This is a powerful, richly flavoured natural redwine from the esteemed winemaker Filippo Petrera. It has inviting aromas of very ripe fruits and slightly toasted wood and spices, with some balsamic notes. Full bodied, rich in minerality and freshness, balanced smooth taste of black sour cherry and plum tending to velvety with ripe fruity notes of blackberry and mulberry, and spices like clove and cacao. It features a toasted almond aftertaste, a taste they say is authentic to Primitivo of Gioia del Colle.

They provide a fresh and comfortable environment through the soundproofing of the premises and temperature control; tranquillity and harmony by applying music therapy in the cellar, a mix of classical music and sounds from nature to support the micro oxygenation and the activity of the living micro flora present in their natural wines. Use of sulphur is limited, as the grapes are transferred straight into the winery from harvest, and all the steps of production take place on site. Fermentation takes place naturally, and they are bottled without filtration. Their entire operation is powered by solar energy, making them carbon neutral.
