This rich, velvety red blend from Lake Breeze shows exactly why South Australias Langhorne Creek is a go-to for seriously good Shiraz and Cabernet. A full-bodied classic with depth, character and charm. Layers of blackberries, cassis and dark plum roll into notes of liquorice, chocolate mint and smoky oak. Lake Breeze is one of Australia’s most awarded boutique wineries, run by the Follett family whove farmed these vineyards since the 1880s. Winemaker Greg Follett works with low-yielding old vines near Lake Alexandrina, making bold, expressive wines that capture the warmth and wildness of South Australia. Bernoota takes its name from the Aboriginal term meaning camp among the gum trees a nod to the local landscape and culture.
