Join us at Taurus Wines on Whipley Manor Farm for an evening of food and wine in our beautifully renovated, 400-year-old barn in the heart of the Surrey Hills as it is transformed into a banqueting hall for the evening.
We’re delighted to be joined by Michael Palij MW, one of just 380 Masters of Wine worldwide – a title he earned at only 29 years old! He founded Winetraders in 1995, a specialist importer representing top producers from the likes of Spain and Italy, which supplies some of the UK’s leading restaurants, hotels and merchants. While guiding us through a selection of these wines, he’ll be sharing some anecdotes from his time in the trade.
On arrival, you will enjoy a welcome glass and canaps followed by a three-course tasting menu prepared by our neighbours, Tandem Catering. As you dine, you will be told the story behind each bottle – its origins, tasting notes and techniques – and each dish will have been carefully chosen to complement the wine.

We always understand when circumstances change, however due to excessive cancellations in the past (which sadly led to us having to stop running our Wine School) we now have this policy in place: If you cancel up to one week before the event we will issue a full refund; between one week and 48 hours before the event, we will issue a full refund,but only if we can resell your ticket at full face value;we cannot offer a refundfor cancellations madewithin48 hours of the event.
