This is a brilliantly situated lieu-dit in Puligny, lying just below the road which runs along the bottom of the Grands Crus, and right on the border with Chassagne. Despite that, it is very Puligny in style: tense, fresh and really mineral. Drink2022-2028.
Jean-Claude Bacheletused to sell the majority of his crop to ngociants. Nowadays the estate bottles virtually all of its wines and is considered as one of themost conscientious wine producersin Saint-Aubin. His sons Benoit and Jean-Baptiste are now involved and there has been afurther step up in quality and consistency.

The white wines are matured in wooden barriques, of which around 10% are new. Bachelet’s wines are exceptionally well balanced and display understated citrus and mineral characteristics. They possess good medium-term ageing potential.
