Promis was created by the Gaja family to denote a wine of commitment, expectation, fulfillment and hope.This offers the elegant richness of Merlot and Syrah, complemented by the vibrancy and structure of Sangiovese. Fresh and juicy, with attractive notes of raspberry, wild strawberry and mulberry fruit, as well as rose petals and violets. Creamy with characteristically firm tannins and a smoky and spicy finish.
Unlike the other wines in the Gaja stable, this can be enjoyable from a young age, although we can confirm that it benefits greatly from being decanted at least 6-8 hours before drinking, in this case the expression “open at breakfast to drink with dinner” stands true. Pair with breaded veal cutlets or bean-based dishes.
