Chamucos Reposado is crafted from 100% blue Weber agave grown in Los Altos, Jalisco. The agave is slow-cooked in masonry ovens, fermented with proprietary yeast in open vats, and twice distilled in stainless steel pot stills. The tequila is then rested in American white oak barrels for about six months, creating a balance between agave vibrancy and gentle aging nuances.
Nose: Cooked agave, tropical fruit, vanilla, caramel, toasted oak, cinnamon, fennel, and a hint of black pepper
Palate: Silky and soft, showcasing cooked agave, butterscotch, tropical fruit, vanilla, toffee, cinnamon spice, fennel, and black pepper
Finish: Smooth and moderate, with lingering agave sweetness, subtle oak heat, and soft spice
