Cdigo 1530 Cristalino is a refined reposado tequila that undergoes charcoal filtration to remove color while preserving its aged character. Crafted at NOM 1616 in Amatitn, Jalisco, it begins as a reposado aged in Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon French white oak barrels for approximately six months. After aging, the tequila is meticulously filtered to produce a crystal-clear spirit that maintains the complexity of a barrel-aged tequila with the elegance and clarity of a blanco.
Nose: Cooked agave, vanilla, toasted coconut, and hints of fresh citrus
Palate: Soft oak, sweet agave, caramel, cocoa, and a touch of wine tannin
Finish: Smooth, clean, and lingering with subtle barrel spice
