Produced in Santa Ana Del Rio, Oaxaca, Mexico through classical artisanal production, this Mezcal Artesenal Joven from El Cabrn is produced with agave cooked in an underground conical hole with rocks, fire, and wood. It’s then ground with a round stone rock, which is pulled by a horse using the traditional method and fermented in a 1,000-litre wooden barrel, before being double-distilled in a copper still.
El Cabron agave spirits are carefully created to showcase what this superfood plant can produce. Using responisbly sourced agave, traditional methods and the best Maestros Mezcaleros (expert generational farmers), the farm to bottle production is carefully overseen at each stage to enure the highest standards.
The Tequiliana agave distillates are designed to represent and support the cultural revolution that is actively taking place in Mexico. El Cabron oppose regulations that threaten the biodiversity of the agave plant and the richness of the culture of Mezcal. El Cabron support local sustainability projects to grow wild agaves for the production of thier products and try to highlight these sustainability based issues.
