El Ninot de Paper Tinto is a bold and flavourful wine, with aromas of ripe black fruits and a touch of spice. On the palate, you’ll taste bright and juicy notes of blackberries and plums, with balanced tannins, acidity, and a hint of pepper. Enjoy it with your favourite grilled meats and pasta dishes.
Bodegas Murviedro was founded in Valencia in 1927, as the Spanish subsidiary of the Swiss Schenk Group, and has grown to become one of the most important wineries in the region.
It has access to a wide range of both indigenous and international grape varieties, and produces a broad portfolio of wine styles. The company’s philosophy is based on combining modern winemaking techniques with grapes from traditional vineyards – to meet the highest international quality standards, while maintaining their Spanish character and originality.
Grapes are sourced from Murviedro’s 300 hectares of vineyard, and a further 1500 that they control in the surrounding area. The blend is an equal split of all 3 grape varieties, with the Monastrell component aged for 4 months in oak.
