Fruit for the Esprit de Pavie Bordeaux Red comes from a diverse range of terroirs situated on the south-facing slopes of the Dordogne valley. Esprit de Pavie enjoys the same care and attention in winemaking as its illustrious siblings to ensure each bottle’s high level of quality. The wine is a blend of Merlot (65%), Cabernet Franc (20%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (15%) and is matured for 15 months in barrels previously used once for Chteau Pavie and Chteau Monbousquet. Deep ruby red in colour, Esprit de Pavie displays aromas of black cherry and plum alongside hints of tobacco. The palate is supple and well rounded with balanced acidity and splendid, mouth-filling sensation.
