This is a ros with a high proportion of Chardonnay to create a Champagne that is equally at ease as an aperitif or with a meal. The Chardonnay gives freshness and precision and the addition of a little red wine from Bouzy and Ambonnay contribute fine fruit notes.

Gosset has a quite remarkable dynasty being able to trace their wine making as far back as 1584 making Gosset the oldest Champagne House. Their original wines were still and mostly red but by the end of the 17th Century they were undoubtedly starting to produce the sparkling wines that we know today (albeit very different in taste!). Their Champagnes are also presented in the beautifully distinctive Antique bottles which is a replica of the bottles used towards the end of the 18th Century.
