Today, under the ownership of the Abbona family since the 1950s, the Marchesi di Barolo winery continues its legacy. The Abbona family has not only upheld the tradition of producing exceptional Barolo wines but has also expanded their vineyard holdings to encompass various areas within the Piedmont region.
Barolo Tradizione, crafted from grapes grown on hillside slopes featuring clay and limestone soils interspersed with layers of sandstone, quartz sands, and fine silt, is a testament to the estate’s commitment to quality.
Under the stewardship of the Abbona family, Marchesi di Barolo Barolo Tradizione proves to be a versatile companion to various dishes. It harmonises particularly well with butter and sage pasta, sausage ravioli, red meats, game, and robust, aged cheeses.
