Maremosso is the new name for the popular Baglio Antico Catarratto, an Italian orange wine made up of 100% Catarratto grapes. The juice in this bottle is the same quality stuff which spend a few weeks macerating on their skins to extract colour, flavour and texture during wild yeast fermentation. The wine is bottled without fining or filtration and with low sulfur and they use Organic practices in the vineyards. The wine itself has a lovely pithy texture, full of ginger, sweet spices and savory herbs.

Their hundred hectares of organic vineyards are located high up in the hills above Alcamo. The wines are all certified organic and planted on south-east facing slopes on sandy soils 150 300m above sea level. The climate is well suited for producing the best quality grapes.
