Matane was founded in 2008 in Salento. The wine and the brand are owned by the Empson Family while the winemaking is done by Teo D’apolito with the support of the Empson family. Since 2018, Matane wines are estate grown and bottled in the facilities of Cantine Paradiso, in Cerignola. The Matane mission consists in exploring, enhancing and exporting the richness and excellence of Salento viniculture in the original Empson spirit.
