The Isle of Wight Distillery was established by Xavier Baker and Conrad Gauntlett in 2014, and is the only distillery on the island, which is the source of Mermaid Gin. The smallteam crafts spirits that are influenced by the gorgeous surroundings and distinctive character of the island. We are rooted in the natural scenery of a special island. A variety of smooth, sophisticated spirits are created by doing things differently, reducing waste, and using ethically sourced and frequently local ingredients.
The creation of a clean and well blended assortment of spirits is made possible by slow distillation and sustainably produced ingredients. Utilizing column stills, the distillation procedure is meticulously controlled, catching only the “hearts” of each batch for our renowned smooth delivery.
