The full spectrum and complexity of flavors last well into the finish, slowly fading to expose the clean American oak foundation.
First released in 2011, Midleton’s Barry Crockett Edition is named after the distillery’s master distiller. It is produced from a selection of pot still whiskies which have been matured exclusively in American bourbon barrels, with a subtle contribution from a pot still distillate, which has matured in an unseasoned American barrel.
Limited release of around 2,500 bottles per year.Very interesting indeed!
