It could be argued that Port Adskaig 8 Year Old Single Malt is the best introduction to an Islay whisky. There is a softness to the sweet peaty character balancing it to perfection.The spirit is aged in refill American oak allowing the character of the whisky to shine through. The result is a gentle, smoky dram that you may find difficult to resist a refill of, if offered!
