To celebrate the launch of the latest San Leonardo vintage 2020 and the third edition of the Arte a San Leonardo limited edition artists presentation cases (exclusive to Honest Grapes in the UK), we were delighted to be joined by Marchese Anselmo Guerrieri Gonzaga for a special evening in Notting Hill.
One of our longest-standing partners, San Leonardo, Gambero Rossos Winery of the Year 2024, is going from strength to strength, receiving its first 98-point scores last year for the 2018 (Wine Advocate) and 2019 (Decanter and James Suckling), the latter also picking up Best Red Wine of the Year by LEspresso.
We hosted an informal Italian supper with Anselmo at award-winning Enrica Rocca Cookery School. A selection of the estates wines were shown, culminating in a tasting of the first bottles of the 2020.
