Origin and Ingredients: Sourced from a carefully selected plot of land in Winters, California, the Howling Mob corn used in this bourbon is an ancient heirloom grain known for its decadent flavor and challenging growth conditions. Comprising 86% of the mash bill, this corn brings a unique character to the bourbon, enhanced by 14% malted barley which adds structure and additional flavor nuances.
Production Excellence: Embracing a true grain-to-glass philosophy, Savage & Cooke oversees every aspect of production, from cultivation and fermentation to distillation and aging. This hands-on approach ensures the highest quality at every step. The bourbon is aged in high-quality Seguin Moreau barrels with a char #3 rating, which imparts deep toasty oak and vanilla flavors, contributing to the whiskeys intense character.
