From the beautiful South African region of Franschhoek, the Boekenhoutskloof winery produces limited quantities of this famous Chocolate Block wine.
The Chocolate Block jeroboam is ready to drink, although will benefit from some ageing also. Drink it on release, or cellar it for up to five years.
In the Jeroboam format, The Chocolate Block benefits from the large volume of wine and reduced oxygen exposure per volume of liquid, which generally allows for slower ageing. This helps the flavours evolve beautifully over time. Making the Jeroboam format ideal for those who wish to cellar the wine and experience its development over the years.
