This Dry Riesling is crisp and zesty, showing beautiful notes of lemon, lime, and spring flowers. The nose explodes with fresh aromas of lemongrass, ginger, and white pepper. Its balanced with refreshing acidity and an elegant finish.
Food Pairing: Though this is a versatile wine, its perfectly paired with lighter cuisine. Try simple fish, chicken, or pasta dishes with citrus flavors and avoid strong tomato-based sauces. Winery Chef Chris Kennedy suggests enjoying this wine with our Dungeness Crab Salad with Tart Apple and Toasted Ciabatta.
Catherine Trefethen, their First Lady, was Welsh. Her loves for wine, gardens and family were the inspiration for our estate in Napa Valley’s Oak Knoll District, and though she has departed, her spirit is still felt, especially in the cool foggy mornings when mist envelops the vineyard and our minds tend towards whimsical imaginings.
